Aristotle
I have been on a quest to make friends- real, lasting friends. After many years of moving around the world, being married and growing kids, I am craving the steadiness and comfort of a good, solid friendship. You would think that would be pretty easy but I have actually found it fairly difficult. Don’t get me wrong, I have met so many different people, I could write a book! These women (and occasionally, men) have had a variety of personalities, ranging from goofy and fun-loving to down right intense! I have even met additional women through them and for the most part, it has been an awesome experience. I have been blessed by meeting and being accepted by some truly amazing and gracious ladies and am honoured to call them friend but….I still crave “my person” I want to be like Meredith and Christina in “Grey’s Anatomy“. I need my person.
Marlene Dietrich
It is the friends that you can call at 4 a.m. that matter.
* Ralph Waldo Emerson
A single rose can be my garden… a single friend, my world.
