Norman Vincent Peale
There is real magic in enthusiasm. It spells the difference between mediocrity and accomplishment.
Today I won the lottery! Ok…I really didn’t but it feels like it. You know the kind of day where everything goes right? I love that! For me, it’s like winning the lottery. I woke up in time to exercise and call my mother before getting to work Yes, I call her every morning! If you haven’t called your mother in a while, pick up the phone and CALL HER! Life is short! I was off today and I was determined to figure out how to publish this blog and BINGO…..done! What a sense of accomplishment that was for me!
Andrew Carnegie
Think of yourself as on the threshold of unparalleled success. A whole clear, glorious life lies before you. Achieve! Achieve!
Next order of business was to catch up on e-mails when I spotted a familiar address. An invitation to participate in a special program at work. Yay! So excited. My work was done so I decided to catch a few rays outside. I was out only half an hour and got great color! After that, I left to meet my friends (early for a change. Something I rarely am!) The minute I pulled out, I heard a noise….flat tire. Bummer! It had been such a good day. But….there was one tire place open that could fix my tire right away. And….….the sun was still shining, there was a beautiful breeze and I had a friend willing to save me a seat (AGAIN!) It doesn’t get much better than this!
